preparing for a flood?
« on: April 14, 2015, 09:04:17 PM »
I'm sure everyone has seen the record flooding In parts of KY this year. Flooding is a problem in a lot of areas around the country.

I personally have never been affected by a flood, but there's been a lot of flooding in areas around me this year, so I'm concerned. I know the basics..don't drive through standing water, don't swim unless you have no other choice, get to high ground, be visible for rescue.

what do you think is necessary for surviving a flood? What's essential for your bug out bag? What's essential for bugging in? Any special preparations for a pet?
