SB921 passed the State House yesterday and will now be sent to the Governor for signing into law. The bill, called the "Tennessee Hearing Protection Act", repeals current state laws prohibiting the possession, manufacture, transport, repair, and sale of firearm silencers.
The bill passed by a 74 -18 in the House, and 28-1 in the Senate. The Governor now has 10 days to sign the bill (or veto it). If no action is taken, the bill becomes law after that time.
