https://www.americas1stfreedom.org/articles/2017/4/14/ftf/bbc-london-crime-with-firearms-up-42-percent-last-year/

According to an article recently released by the NRA, crime involving firearms in Britain increased by 42% last year. Despite having very strict firearm control policies to being, in fact, so strict that former POTUS obama frequently mentioned their laws and low gun violence rates in his anti-gun speeches.

There's even been major pushes in recent years to ban many pocket knives(remember the slogan: save a life, surrender your knife?), and the NRA revealing that the only legal self defense weapon in britian is a rape alarm. Is it really a surprise that violent crime has increased? The police website specifically states that you cannot harm your attacked.

Do you think the rise in crime is do to the fact that the criminals know that their intended victims are unarmed and cannot legally harm them? Or something else?
