The Sportsmen's Heritage And Recreational Enhancement Act (SHARE Act), where the Hearing Protection Act provisions (making it so that silencers aren't regulated by NFA) ended up has passed out of committee and yesterday they added it to the calendar to take it to the floor for a vote.

The text of the bill is at
https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/house-bill/3668/textThis is a pretty big deal. There might be a decent chance of the House passing it, so keep contacting your representatives to support the bill. The Senate probably doesn't have as good of a chance, so
please contact your senators and Senate leadership. Tell them you want this thing passed and tell them that you will work hard to make sure that they don't get reelected if they don't pass it.
"Shall not be infringed" has meant "lets infringe the hell out of it" for a long time and this is a big opportunity to reclaim some of our rights that are supposed to be protected by the government.
