We posted about the Brigand Arms braided carbon fiber AR hand guards in the SHOT Show 2017 thread.   The ultra-light weight foreend that they had on display holding up a 40# dumbbell. 





We also got a chance to visit with FosTech to see a great application for the next-to-nothing handguards.  Here is their 3.5 pound Raptor, a complete AR build using the Brigand handguard and their own (since FosTech purchased Mag Tactical) lightweight magnesium alloy receivers.



Can you easily one-hand your AR from the far end of the stock? 

With the proper application of recoil springs, short light trigger, a tuned gas system, and low mass BCG, this might just be the perfect gamer gun.
