Seems like a law suit waiting to happen.  A male guard walking into the bathroom of a female guest while sheís showering?

Those are pretty cool. I had a buddy in school that could make a working model of just about anything in Solid Edge or AutoCAD or similar. Those looked pretty cool even with technology from years ago.
NSSF SHOT Show / Re: SHOT Show 2019 :: Room Security Checks
« Last post by masfonos on January 10, 2019, 02:45:21 PM »
FYI for anyone going to Vegas for SHOT Show. Most casinos are now doing room security checks at least every 24 hours. Regardless of whether you opted in or out of housekeeping service, whether you have the do not disturb sign up, whether you are in the room or out of it, whether you are naked/dressed/in bed/in the shower, or anything else... they ARE going to come right on in.  Best of luck not having some "security" creep come in while you're in the middle of something private!

They used to offer a $10/DAY credit for declining housekeeping but have since changed it to to $10/STAY.

Here is a trip advisor thread about it https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g45963-i10-k12025489-CET_Security_Check_Procedures-Las_Vegas_Nevada.html

and a LV Sun article https://lasvegassun.com/news/2018/feb/16/caesars-to-check-do-not-disturb-rooms-daily/

The AK47 video came up on my facebook feed and I found the other ones when I went to find it on youtube

FN is adding a new Tactical and Midsize model to the 509 series

And you can add another one to the list above now...

Mossberg is wading into the Concealed Carry Pistol market with their new sub-compact MC1sc 9mm to mark their 100th anniversary

Caliber   9mm
Capacity   6-Round Flush-Fit / 7-Round Extended
Barrel Length   3.40"
Trigger Pull   5-6 lbs.
Weight   19 oz (Unloaded), 22 oz (Loaded)
Length   6.25"
Height   4.30"
Width   1.03"

We will be sure to give these a try at the range if they are there (fingers crossed). I am pretty curious to see what Mossberg's idea of a compact 9mm is like.
Wow, someone talking realistically gun confiscation possible fallout? Kurt Schlicter on Town Hall from last month: How Much Blood Would Leftists Be Willing To Shed To Disarm Patriotic Americans?

"My question for Congressjerk Eric Swalwell is pretty simple: ďHow many Americans would you murder to achieve your goal of disarming us?Ē

Itís a fair question.

Swalwell is the MSNBC stalwart who recently wrote an op-ed advocating that the government confiscate the guns that make people like him wet themselves and imprison those of us who decline to surrender them. Millions of Americans own these basic tools of freedom, which the ignorant call ďassault weapons,Ē and these loyal citizens keep and bear them to protect themselves, their families, their communities and their Constitution. But Rep. Swalwell would make these citizens felons, though these patriots are only a threat to criminals and aspiring tyrants.

Rep. Swalwell, some people are going to fight rather than cave in, so whatís the number of bodies you would be willing to pile up to win? Letís put aside the right or wrong of resistance; itíll be a thing. Itíll happen. Youíre from near San Francisco, so you donít know any real Americans, but even though I am from that hellhole too, Iíve met a few Americans in my travels. They are an ornery people who donít give in to the kind of bullying you advocate. So, youíre going to have to kill some people to do what you want, and I just want to know how many youíre prepared to off to achieve your goal."
It isn't like there's not a market for them.

Iím actually excited for these. The G19 is just a tad bit too big for me. I have to readjust my grip after every couple of shot as it is, more so if itís hot outside and Iím sweaty.  The G43 actually fit in my hands and I had no issues in handling it.

Perfect! A marginally narrower version of the exact same size pistol but now with 1/3 fewer rounds!

4 bonus rounds for the 43 is nice, but don't they make 10 round mags with a sleeve? Why eliminate the possibility of having a very small footprint gun?

Don't get me wrong, I like Glock and carry one almost all the time, but they are always so woefully behind the curve.
