Title: Florida Passes Gun Control, Goes To Governor

Believe it or not, could only find a news article from BBC about this. 

Florida House passes a gun control bill that has already passed the Florida Senate. If the Governor signs it, the age to buy any firearm will be raised to 21, adds a mandatory 3 day wait period on all firearm purchases and bans bump stocks. It also provides a path for classroom teachers with certain training to be able to carry a firearm in school and increases mental health spending.

According to this article, it is not a sure thing that the Governor will sign it.

I’m curious as to how this would have prevented the Orlando shooting? Or even the Parkland shooting. Sure the shooter here was 19, but does anyone really think he would have said oh no, can’t get a rifle, guess I don’t want to kill these people anymore?
