Things have been busy around here and we just now got a chance to watch this past week's show.  It was definitely a good one; probably our favorite so far.

Interesting firearms topics and it was great to hear from our pal Bill from Lin-Speed Oil.  We've talked with him a few times and he is a really nice guy who is passionate about his product.  He offered a lot of help when we were doing our stock refinishing project and it turned out great.  Hopefully all you guys from the video get a chance to try it out and see how it works for you - we'd love to see the results in the Reviews section of the forum.

For everyone else, as mentioned in the video, you can pick some up on the Lin-Speed website or from Brownells (and maybe from Tac Daddy soon).  You can also win some free kits in the Summer Giveaway Thread (and Bill has offered up even more product that we'll put up once more people sign up!).

Keep up the great work.

On your shells with the dents and scratches in them...

Does it happen on every single one consistently or only on some of them?  If every shell has a mark there, you could narrow down where it's coming from.  Load the rifle, fire one round, remove the magazine, safety the rifle, and gently eject the chambered round using the charging handle.

If it has the dent/scratch then it's happening before firing or ejection and might be caused by the carrier hitting the shell when stripping or chambering either that round or the round before it.

If the round does not have the dent/scratch then it's happening during extraction or ejection and might be from spinning around and hitting the deflector.
