Its that time of year and I cant wait to get out in the woods.
Who here will be hunting this fall/winter and what are you shooting at? :P
-
Helping the nephews here in Missouri cut shooting lanes and set up bait stations.
The bait has to be completely removed at least 10 days prior to hunting.
I think one will be using a .243 and the other a .30-30. I do not think I will be hunting this years. Hips and backs hurt like heck all the time.

Do you have mules or whitetails in MO?
-
Whitetails. I have been told we have the mules deer here, but I have never seen one where I live.
-
I hope to get a chance to get out in the woods pretty soon. It just started turning chilly here and it's definitely feeling like "that time of year"
Whitetails, various small game and upland birds better watch out.

Having any luck? I have been real busy and have not got a chance to get out very much. I haven't even been able to get online and look at my gun forums as much as I would like!
I saw a couple OK looking deer but nothing worth spending a tag on yet. There is a lot of squirrel activity but they mostly seem smaller than usual. Are the nut trees still hurting?

Sat on my porch and waited for something to walk by. My ability to walk is severely limited and I was afraid that I would get in to the wood and then not be able to get back out.
Did not see anything worth shooting this year. Maybe next yar they will be bigger. My nephews tooks two does.
