SHOT 2013 Bolt Action Rifles
« on: January 15, 2013, 10:33:34 AM »
Everything and anything related to bolt action firearms

Lets start things off with Ashbury Precision Ordnance SABER chassis system.  If you know tactical bolt action rifles, you know what you're looking at, and if you have to ask the price, you probably can't afford it...

The ergonomics are very nice, and any action dropped into one of these things will be a pleasure to shoot.

Badger Ordinance their new M2013 action on display.  The M2013 is based off the proven M2008, with an improved firing pin, new styling, improved extraction cam (which makes for an incredibly light bolt lift), and you can use AICS and AW magazines.

GA Precision (stands for Gnat's Ass, not Georgia like many people assume) has a new "Extreme Hunter" rifle.

Christensen is best known for their brilliant use of carbon fiber, everywhere.

This is their new tactical stock, which is very nice and very light; being made out of, you guessed it, carbon.

And who wouldn't want a 50cal with a carbon wrapped barrel!

Here is some more from Ahsbury.  I though Ashbury was new to market, but they have a good history, it's only recently that they have begun to sell to consumers.

This is their new basic/hunting stock, the big difference is the plain forend.

Ashbury is also coming out with a new line of chasis that use an extruded alloy forend that is less expensive, and surprisingly lighter than the carbon version; and it comes in colors...
