According to an online news source in Alaska, the city of Anchorage has seen a 78% increase in hospitalizations from 2013 to 2015. According to a Dr. Sacco, the chairman of the Alaska Trauma System Review Committee, Anchorage saw the highest increase in the state, where it averages out to about one intentional firearm injury is seen in the ER per week.

He blames the rise on the combination of high gun ownership and high drug use.

So...is "intentional" firearm injury a PC way of saying suicide/homicide attempt?
