Stop Illegal Trafficking in Firearms ActA bill to increase public safety by punishing and deterring firearms trafficking.
S 2594This bill prohibits the Firearms Trace System database maintained by the National Trace Center of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives from being immune from legal process. In state or federal civil actions or administrative proceedings, the contents of the database: (1) shall be subject to discovery and admissible as evidence; and (2) may be used, relied on, or disclosed in any manner. Testimony or other evidence may also be permitted based on that data.
Modernizing the Pittman-Robertson Fund for Tomorrow's Needs Act of 2016This bill amends the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act to make it one of the purposes of the Act to extend financial and technical assistance to the states for the promotion of hunting and recreational shooting.
Protect America from Homemade Explosives ActA bill to strengthen the enforcement of explosive materials prohibitions, and for other purposes.
Protecting Gun Rights and Due Process ActA bill to provide adequate protections for gun owners.
Fix Gun Checks Act of 2016A bill to ensure that all individuals who should be prohibited from buying a firearm are listed in the national instant criminal background check system and require a background check for every firearm sale.
Hate Crimes Prevention ActA bill to prevent a person who has been convicted of a misdemeanor hate crime, or received an enhanced sentence for a misdemeanor because of hate or bias in its commission, from obtaining a firearm.
