Brian "Gunny" Zins has a rather storied history in the world of shooting. While popularly known from his
appearances on the History Channel's "Top Shot: season two," many shooting enthusiasts know of Brian's
impressive off-screen background. A recently-retired Marine, Brian is a ten-time NRA Pistol Champion
and holds more than 30 national records in NRA Indoor and Outdoor Conventional Pistol Shooting. A
competitive shooter for the Marine Corps Pistol team and FBI trained, Brian is also a Marine Corps
instructor in combat marksmanship.

The first is a heavy-duty two (2) gallon handheld sprayer with Viton™ seals and gaskets, an anti-clog filter, adjustable

four (4) gallon backpack sprayer, which also has all Viton™ seals and gaskets, a 100% leak proof cover, adjustable

You can’t find evidence that you can’t see. FoxFury’s revolutionary Rook Alternate Light Source(ALS) LED kit makes it

“We’ve heard lots of debate as to which blue (450 vs. 470 nm) and UV
(380 vs. 395 nm) wavelength is the best. The reality is that it changes
according to the scene, materials that absorbed the substance in question,
and the type of sample you are looking at (semen isn’t urine). The Rook Kit
now allows crime scene and forensic lab personnel to compare and
document which wavelength(s) lead to the best evidence being seen.
Using two peak wavelengths at the same time seems to yield the best
results. We’ve been able to repeat those results when looking at DNA
samples, ID cards, paper currency and in room inspection,” said Mario

Blue light is used in general crime scene search to look for blood, hairs,
fibers and other trace evidence. UV light is used in crime scene search
mostly to locate serological evidence including semen. UV light can also
be used to inspect hotel rooms and bathrooms and to look for oil leaks.

Rook light sources are powered with lithium (two CR123) or rechargeable lithium (one 1860)batteries. Each Rook light
weighs 4.8 oz (130 g) and has an aluminum 6061-T6 hard anodized housing.

The Rook R2A Forensic ALS Kit includes the Rook Blue, Rook UV, orange and yellow goggles and a carrying case. An

SCHMIDT & BENDER awarded US Military Precision Sniper Program

Following the successful implementation of the 3-12x50 PMII at the United States Marine Corps, the US Special Operation Command also opted for SCHMIDT & BENDER and their 5-25x56 PMII. Thus SCHMIDT & BENDER receives the contract to supply the Dayscopes for the PSR (Precision Sniper Rifle Program). The precision scopes are meant for the Special Forces of the US Army, US Air Force, US Navy, and the US Marine Corps. The first scopes are scheduled for shipment in the fall of 2011. The scope of delivery includes about 8,000 scopes with an additional option.

If a private club or any SAFR facility fails to manage its environmental risk properly, they may find themselves in the same boat as the Broadkiln Sportsman Club, Inc which used to be located near Milton, Sussex County, Delaware. task on a paper map. The look and feel of the map makes it easy to compare the user’s GPS location to
paper maps such as State, Plat Book, Forest Service, and others.

customers as they use the map for wildlife studies and patrolling trespassing or poaching issues. Law
enforcement agencies from the State, County, and City level are also using our easy to use map to

Bushnell introduces the G Force 1300 ARC Laser Rangefinder

Bushnell, the undisputed leader in laser rangefinder technology, introduces a rugged new compact lightweight unit for 2012.

The new G Force 1300 ARC laser rangefinder has a host of features that will appeal to a wide range of hunters and shooters. The unit features ranging capabilities out to 1300 yards reflective, 900 yards to objects like trees and 500 yards to deer.

LANSING, MI – The Tony Semple Foundation for Hope (TSFFH) Outdoor Adventures program was created to accommodate life-challenging individuals that want to go hunting and fishing as one of their life wishes. The Muy Grande Ranch was the home of the 2011 Outdoor Adventures program held on September 15-18.

All nine TSFFH Outdoor Adventure candidates were successful in taking a whitetail buck. One participant, 15-year-old Dylan Odland who suffers from cystic fibrosis explained, “This is an opportunity for me and the others to get away from the pains of the hospital and the treatments and just have fun.”

“This is an incredible program that literally brings hope to families that have been focused on the realities of having a child diagnosed with a life-threatening or life-altering situation,” said former Detroit Lions football player Tony Semple. “I played nine years in the NFL with some of the toughest player, but these youngsters are the epitome of courage; they are the true fighters.”

ATLANTA – Just in time for hunting season, Georgia-Pacific has introduced its 2011 camouflage structural panel featuring the new Mossy Oak® Break-Up Infinity® pattern from Haas Outdoors, Inc.

The panels are constructed of high-quality Blue Ribbon® OSB, and are laminated with the camouflage pattern. Break-Up Infinity features six layers of depth, detail and definition, so you can actually look into the pattern as if you were looking right into the woods.

Prior to joining 5.11 Tactical Tom was CEO of Panda Restaurant Group (Panda Express), where he lead the dramatic growth of the company from $500 million in sales to more than $1.2 billion. Seen at the Shot Show: the .357 Magnum Automatic
