Just wanted to do the new member intro thing.
I am a little over the top when it comes to rimfire over centerfire - I build ARs just to run them with the CMMG (and other) conversion bolts.
If anyone in the South Central Kentucky area is looking to do some shooting at a range in the area let me know.

I love those CMMG conversions. Super fun and cheap to shoot. And they run like a scalded dog in binary! I’ve been thinking about getting a 1:16 twist AR barrel for a dedicated upper to better stabilize the projectiles but have never pulled the trigger on that yet.
.22 is finally back enough that I don’t mind shooting up some of my stash. I have the conversion, couple pistols and a few 10/22s to run it through. Used to have a few more rimfires but I’ve got them whittled down now.

I have several rigged up with the binary triggers as well - doesn't hurt the pocket book to run the mag dumps.
As far as the 1:16 barrels, these eyes don't see as well as they used to. I have a 50+ meter range in the back yard. If I can ring 8" steel targets on every trigger pull I am happy with that accuracy.
If I am going to go for accuracy and group size I use some of the other rimfire rifles and pistols I have that are better suited for that purpose.

Welcome!!! I don’t build anything personally. I leave that to the husband. I do enjoy plinking with the 10/22. Something satisfying about hearing the target being hit.

I am at Nolin Lake just outside of Clarkson KY.
You folks at Gunz helped me out with the purchase of 4 Bushmaster QC rifles with optics for the Friends of the NRA - Elizabethtown for our event last spring. Not only was the price outstanding, you guys handled delivering them to Uncle Dan's Pawn to handle the FFL transfers for the night of the Banquet. Some of the best customer service in the business.

Hey, Mark! Glad that worked out well for FNRA and the banquet and thanks for the kind words! At least one of our guys here goes to those banquets, but the ones here in Louisville, I don't know if they go down to E-town. Swing on through the showroom any time you're up this way and say Hi.
Those Bushmaster QRCs with the red dot sight were a smoking deal and were really popular. Those and some Rugers that we got a good deal on were some of our fast movers.

I keep trying to make it up to see you folks, but the deck building business down here at the lake keeps me busy all week long, then Saturday hits and I am either too tired or have a bunch of projects on my own home that need to get done. You folks ever consider Sunday hours? : )

We thought about it when we opened up the new showroom location - even did a Facebook poll. Between wanting to let our guys have a break and lack of interest in the extra hours, Sunday hours didn't make sense. Maybe some day.

I was joking about the Sunday hours.
Having owned several businesses in the Louisville area, I would suggest you keep a day off for yourself and for your staff.
No amount of sales can offset the added stress. It was easier to hire and retain great employees when they always knew at the least they would never have to work a Sunday shift.

True that! Everyone needs some time to themselves. Saturdays are a great time to cruise on up though and there are some great places to eat down on this end of town.
