3rd Annual Women’s Outdoor & Shooting Industry Dinner
to be held during the Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade ShowSM (SHOT Show®)

Las Vegas will once again roll out the red carpet for the elegant side of the firearms industry at the Women’s Outdoor & Shooting Industry Dinner, January 21 from 7–10 pm. Now in its third year, this eagerly anticipated event is expected to draw more than 250 female firearm industry associates to the Public House in the opulent Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.

Presented by LaserMax®each year since its inception, the dinner has grown from a small gathering of ladies meeting after a long day on the SHOT Show floor, to an occasion that has inspired involvement and collaboration from all corners of the industry.

According to Britney Starr, the event’s founder and host, “Our teamwork as female firearm industry members affords us a unique opportunity to help others. This is why we have added an exciting silent auction to the evening’s festivities this year.”  Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit Task Force Dagger Foundation (TFD), a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing vital assistance to the wounded, ill or injured soldiers of U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) as well as the families of the fallen.

“LaserMax is delighted to take part in making this event possible each year,” stated Celia Grimes, LaserMax Director of Marketing. “As representatives of the fastest-growing segment of the firearms industry, we ladies thoroughly enjoy an evening dedicated to creating new connections, rekindling old friendships and celebrating the important roles we play in the future of shooting sports. More importantly, by tying together our successes, we can to give back to our community in a truly meaningful way.”

Pro shooters, authors, manufacturers and business owners make up this year’s guest list. Themed “birds of a feather,” the event’s organizers encourage attendees to spread their wings and show off their colors in celebration of female empowerment in the firearm business.
