Navajo Nation Considers Firearm Registration
« on: April 05, 2017, 05:02:41 PM »
A bill proposed in the Navajo Nation Tribal Council would require all residents on tribal land to register firearms with the Navajo Nation Police Department.

The bill would require residents to register the firearm make and model, serial number, and owner's information.

A council member says it would create accountability.  what accountability? If I'm a criminal with half a mind, I'm not going to use a weapon that I registered to commit the crime.
