This post will be for residents of California to share state and local legislation. Please indicate if the bill you're talking about is local or state.

Here's some of the state legislation being proposed this session:
SB464 - changes storage requirements for dealers
AB1525 - requires a statement of risk to be added to packaging
SB710 - would allow individuals to possess silencers when hunting
AB 7 - would make it a crime to carry an unloaded firearm, other than a handgun, in public
SB497 - would make the 30-day wait period between handgun purchases apply to all firearms
SB424 - removes the ability of the superintendent to provide permission to a person to carry a firearm in a school zone
