Fostech had a few samples of the Origin shotgun with them at the Media Range day.  The Origin shotgun is based off the Saiga 12, but as you can see they've made a few changes...  The Origin was a project originally started by Alliance Armament, and from what I gathered, both Fostech and Alliance will be manufacturing the shotgun moving forward to keep pace with demand.

Shooting the Origin was quite pleasant, it had the familiar feel of a converted Saiga 12, but with great improvements in the areas of user interface, with a better safety, better charging handle, and better mag release.  There is also a noticable improvement in the controllability of the weapon, as a result of them moving the placement of the stock up above the bore axis.  It also looks pretty cool, I'm a big fan of how they machined the bolt.

Fostech is also doing a bumfire stock for AK's.  This bumpfire bullpup kit, looks interesting, but I'm not sure if it's available yet...

Got rails?  But seriously, there has been a lot of progress in the AK world with companies coming out with new products that are particle and help keep the old platform relevant.  Sampson is one of those companies that had some really nice AK accessories.

Kerbs Custom is also bringing some nice rails to the market for russian enthusiasts.  They had a new line of key-mod handguards for VEPR and AK style rifles, additionally they will be offering some accessories for the key-mod system.

GG&G has a non-reciprocating charging handle for the SCAR.

They have also made some revisions to their bi-pod, the most interesting new feature is to lock it in a 45° position so it can be loaded.

For all the three gunners out there, yet another option for offset sights.

A new offset QD mount.

Lastly, they have a new 2 shot extension for Remington 870's

The Serbu BFG-50A, because some of use just can't afford a Barrett.  They are finally shipping these...

The Sig MPX, very cool.  My only complaint, the AR inspired control layout.  Yes the AR is great, and most of us are very familiar with it's layout; but if you're building a completely new weapon system lets have a little improvement, after all the AR is still far from perfect.

The (what I am assuming is...) civilion version of the MPX with a hugh muzzle break to bring the BBL to 16".  It's just the baffle of a supressor, so I'm assuming that it won't ship this way, because I doubt the ATF will allow a gun to ship with supressor parts...

Some awesome can designs from Sig, width instead of length; insert that's what she said joke.

Fabryka Broni... Some crazy stuff.

This is basically a heavier metal ACR, there isn't much to say about it, just pictures.

A 3D printed concept of a bullpup version, the real thing is slated for 2016.

And some of their very nice AK rifles, as you can see, some take AR mags.

Colt, taking the cake for the classiest gun at the show with this beautiful reproduction of a Civil War era gatling gun.  It cranks so smooth...

ASC had some new mags.  The most interesting were the 5 and 10 rounders for AICS and AX rifles/chasis, which will cost far less than the factory one.  They will alos have a 25 round SCAR 17 mag out soon.  Lastly, 7.62x39 AR mags.

The Benelli M4 hasn't changed for 2013, but they had a few on display equipped with furniture from ATI, for anyone who wants to make their M4 r922 (most retarded/annoying law ever) legal.

Oh, bad news for us M4 fans.  The ATF has 86'd the M4 h20, because they're dicks...  Apparently, they didn't like the way Benelli was going about building them, I wasn't able to get many details out of them.

This was another one of my favoriate things about SHOT.  Timney is doing a trigger for the Mosin-Nagant.  And it feels like every other Timney trigger, fantastic.  Now I want a Nagant just so I can put a trigger in it that cost more than the rifle.

More good news!  We might get a civilian version of this!  But that all depends on what happens with the pending bans.
