Hurricane Irma and Guns?
« on: September 13, 2017, 07:22:32 PM »
I don't know how I missed this last week:

Ahead of Hurricane Irma hitting the Virgin Islands, the governor of the territory issued an executive order calling for all private firearms to be confiscated to ensure the safety of the islands.

How is that even legal? I know they aren't a state, and just a territory, but don't they have the same protections under the Constitution?
